Summary: The conference took place as Vietnam was facing global challenges such as climate change, digital transformation, and economic competition. Presentations focused on solutions for sustainable development, including green economy initiatives, renewable energy, and natural resource management. Other key topics included education reform, improving human resource quality, and preserving cultural identity in the context of globalization. The conference also addressed Vietnam’s role in free trade agreements (FTAs) such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), now known as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
Achievements: The conference contributed to shaping sustainable development policies for the 2016–2020 period, particularly in the fields of economics and environmental management.
