Panel 6: Natural Resources, Environment, and Sustainable Development

The International Conference on Vietnamese Studies is a prestigious academic forum held periodically to foster research, teaching, and knowledge exchange on Vietnam-related topics. It contributes to addressing real-world challenges in the context of globalization and national development.

As part of the 7th International Conference on Vietnamese Studies (2025), Vietnam national University – University of Science, Hanoi (VNU-HUS) will host a Specialized Session titled:

“Resources, Environment, and Sustainable Development in Vietnam in Response to Emerging Development Demands”

Main Topics of the Workshop Include:

  • Natural resources, environmental issues, and the country’s sustainable development challenges

  • Development models associated with effective and sustainable land and water use

  • Non-traditional security in the context of natural resources, environment, climate change, and natural disasters

  • Cultural values in contemporary environmental protection

  • Waste management and environmental protection

  • Climate change: current status, trends, impacts, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for Vietnam; adaptation capacity and solutions

  • Climate change response and sustainable development models

VNU-University of Science, Hanoi respectfully invites researchers, academics, and students from Vietnam and abroad to register and submit papers to the workshop.

  • 📌 Deadline for registration and abstract submission: Before August 15, 2025

  • 📌 Deadline for full paper submission: Before August 31, 2025

Submitted papers will undergo peer review, and selected papers will be considered for publication in scientific journals of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
